Providing 24-hour skilled nursing care for medically fragile children
The Maryville Children's Healthcare Center is a "place like home" for medically fragile children and their families. This program provides transitional care between hospital and home for children, ages 0 through 21, with complex medical needs and provides training to the caregivers to help them become more confident when attending to their child's specialized needs. The Children's Healthcare Center additionally offers respite care to provide caregivers much needed breaks from their demanding schedules.
In the lively atmosphere of the Maryville Children's Healthcare Center, families can temporarily put aside the challenges they face day to day in order to take time to refresh and rejuvenate themselves. In addition to taking care of the children's specialized medical needs, the Maryville Children's Healthcare Center provides attentive care to the heart, mind and spirit of these special children and their families.
