Maryville MISA Program

Providing specialized residential treatment for youth with mental illness and a substance abuse problem.

Maryville Academy's MISA Program is a specialized residential treatment for adolescent boys, ages 13-18, with a dual diagnosis.  Dual diagnosis often refers to those who are simultaneously dealing with mental illness and substance use disorder.  These co-occurring disorders are often difficult to diagnose and, unless they are treated simultaneously, one condition may worsen while the other improves.  Maryville Academy looks at each person individually and develops a customized treatment plan for each.
