We recently received the news that Maryville Academy has been re-accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).  

COA is an independent, not-for-profit, international accrediting agency of both community-based behavioral health care and human service organizations. COA conducts its accreditation review with attention to national standards of best practice.   More than 1800 public and private organizations are either COA accredited or are in the process of seeking COA accreditation.  

In 2009, COA conducted a detailed review and analysis of Maryville Academy’s services and administrative operations. Dr. Richard Klarberg, President and CEO of COA wrote:

“Congratulations!  On behalf of the Council on Accreditation, I am delighted to inform you that Maryville Academy has been reaccredited. Reaccreditation is a tremendous achievement that demonstrates that your organization is recognized as a provider that continues to successfully implement high performance standards and, as such, is delivering the highest quality services to all of its stakeholders”

This is what Maryville Academy is about – to provide the highest quality services to our children and families in need.  We are proud of our dedicated staff, board and friends.
